The concept behind the store is a GREAT GATSBY Gentlemen
Club. As many men prefer a more manly environment with
stronger scents and darker colours, I have thought that the perfect
fit for that would be a Art Deco 1920’s style store. Considering
that most of the fashion colours revolve around the
colour black, it seemed logical to me that a more darker place
would cater to the male target group.
SUMMERBIRD
The idea behind the new Summerbird store is to keep the
design DNA of the company, the vision and mission and work
only on the customers’ perception of the shop; in order to
create their own chocolate universe, as the mission states,
I have designed a store that will follow the general guidelines
of the brand, but putting a twist in their theme.
FUTURE ROOM
For this project I have decided to work with 2 mega trends (which are Turbo Society &
Emotions) and 2 counter trends (which are Simple Living & Homo Ratio). I have started
by making a scenario cross in which I have created different worlds where my house
should be placed. These are: Sustainable Dreaming, The room of the future soul, Now. Us.
and iLiving. Above you can see one inspirational photo for chosen scenario (The room
